The CtK 2027 STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN

Dear Christ the King Family,   

                                                                                                           

This fall, we begin our 2027 Stewardship season grounded in gratitude and hope. Our theme, Abundantly Blessed, Joyfully Giving, reminds us that God’s generosity toward us is overflowing and that our response can be joyful, purposeful, and life‑changing. Stewardship is not simply about financial support; it is a whole‑life expression of faith. It is how we turn gratitude into action and strengthen the mission God has entrusted to Christ the King.

This year, we celebrate two remarkable blessings. The first is the extraordinary ministry of Pastor Sandy, who stepped in with love, faith, and unwavering dedication during our time of transition. The second is the arrival of our new pastor, Pastor Nelson, whose leadership marks a new chapter in the life of our congregation.

​

As we welcome Pastor Nelson, we are mindful of the importance of providing a strong foundation for future ministry. A congregation with stable resources, vibrant programs, and committed members empowers a pastor to lead boldly, innovate faithfully, and help us grow in mission and service. Our mission remains at the heart of who we are: to welcome all people and to equip Christian disciples to share God’s love and grace through worship, prayer, relationship, learning, giving, and serving. Your generosity of time, talent, and treasure provides the foundation for that mission and the future growth of Christ the King.

 

Each of us has been blessed in unique ways. Some offer time, a listening ear, a helping hand, or a few hours to serve. Others share talents that enrich our ministries, including teaching, music, hospitality, leadership, craftsmanship, and care. Many give faithfully of their financial resources, sustaining the programs and spaces that nurture faith and community. Stewardship invites us to bring all these gifts together with joy. When we share what we have been given, we become part of something larger than ourselves: the living mission of Christ the King. This is what Abundantly Blessed, Joyfully Giving looks like in practice, responding to God’s generosity with hearts full of gratitude and hands ready to serve.

We also invite you to consider proportional giving, a spiritual practice that aligns your financial support with your blessings. A simple way to begin is to look at your calendar and your checkbook and ask whether they reflect the values you hold most dear and your stewardship commitment. Proportional giving helps us respond faithfully, regardless of income level, and ensures that our shared mission is supported with consistency and care. On November 8, the Adult Forum will offer a presentation on how your church leadership stewards the resources you entrust to Christ the King. On November 15, the Adult Forum will host a session on planned giving, including ways to incorporate Christ the King into your estate planning.

To those who already give so generously, thank you. Your faithfulness is the foundation of our ministry. You embody Abundantly Blessed, Joyfully Giving every day, and we are deeply grateful.
